Also, while cats are experts at climbing trees and walls, something that is simply not possible for dogs, cats can’t inherently swim well like dogs do. Throw a dog in water, and he will eventually swim to the shore, and will probably even enjoy the swim. Throw a cat in water, and the results are there for all to see in these pictures.
Not only is the cat not happy to be in the midst of deep water, it looks positively scared, worried and helpless. Gone is the arrogant demeanor, which is characteristic of cats- it seems to be hoping that someone comes to its rescue and does so quickly.
Cats have a natural instinct to run,
jump, claw, and hunt, and having an indoor cat doesn’t eliminate those
natural instincts. That’s why cat toys are a vital part of a cat’s
socialisation and fitness. Cats can play with almost anything. In fact,
if you don’t provide your cat with some sort of entertainment, you’ll
find that they can easily create their own fun using things around the
house.
Sometimes this works out, like when you
get one of those cute pictures of your cat peeking out from a brown
paper bag. Other times, the form of fun they choose involves attacking
the furniture and clawing it to shreds before you have a chance to stop
